Bonsai Site of the Month -July

This months site is one constructed for Mario from Poland. He seems to be into wabi sabi.

-some nice trees in the portfolio.

`wabi` is the kind of beauty that is caused by the right kind of imperfection.
`sabi` is the kind of beauty that can come only with age.

if an object or expression can bring about, within us, a sense of serene melancholy and a spiritual longing, then that object could be said to be wabi-sabi."

"It (wabi-sabi) nurtures all that is authentic by acknowledging three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect."

Membership

New members are always welcome, just come along to one of our monthly meetings at the RAFA club. You can even 'try us out' for a few months before you decide on joining as an official member. The meetings are informal (there's a bar!) and the club members are (mostly) friendly, approachable and happy to pass on guidance and information to anybody interested in bonsai- whatever your level of experience.
