Membership

New members are always welcome, just come along to one of our monthly meetings at the RAFA club. You can even 'try us out' for a few months before you decide on joining as an official member. The meetings are informal (there's a bar!) and the club members are (mostly) friendly, approachable and happy to pass on guidance and information to anybody interested in bonsai- whatever your level of experience.

Walter Pall's feeding regime

Hi Iain
Here is a copy of Walter Pall's feeding regime, supplied by Dave Bibby. Its good to have support for mine confirmed by a celebrity.
Could you post this on the blog please
Thanks
Dave Y

As requested by Dave Y above, here is a link to Walter Pall's feeding regime. ( Dave-I thought, as its a bit wordy I'd supply a link rather than copying the whole item word for word.)

A selection of some of the trees brought along by members to the June meeting....enjoy!
Once again, thanks to Jim 'the Lad' for the ongoing work taking and editing the photos- the blog would be a lot poorer without them.

I am sure that I will have missed out jobs that are important or need doing. It is important that Gordale is a whole club show and not just the domain of a handful of members. I would ask you all to give as much time as you can to this event, it was a great success last year and we need to equal or improve on that. If you would like to volunteer for any of the areas listed above you can Email me at daveyarranton@yahoo.co.uk
Many thanks in anticipation

June Meeting- Speaker -Ian W

This months meeting is defiantly one not to miss, Ian will be talking about & (hopefully?) demonstrating one of the essential skills for turning your 'stick in a bucket' into a bonsai masterpiece- the art of deadwood carving.
Anyone who has seen Ian's trees will know and appreciate the level of skill and knowledge that will be on show.
Be there....
