Ian W.our man in the Hot
seat as chairman he opened the meeting and was more than pleased with the
efforts of the Members that had made, as they stood up to the plate and brought
in over 30 Bonsai Trees and Accent Plants
There was a Great
attendance with 28 members and a few visitors which is always delightful to
see, plus to have a Distinguished Bonsai Artist Simon Temblett and a few
Enthusiastic Bonsai Members Mr Chris Ryding Show Manager and Member of the National Bonsai
Society also Mr Dave Y from Vale of Clwyd
Bonsai Society
As the evening went on
Ian W. along with Andy H and Tony F had the difficult task of selecting the
Bonsai Trees Required for our Members Annual Bonsai
and Accent Plants Show held on the 1st/2nd September at the GGC
The selection process
was difficult and Ian W. Expressed the thoughts of the Selection Panel on how
difficult it was and even although a Members Tree was not selected this time
with a little more work on some cases there is no reason why these Trees will
Not be selected in the future so encouraged everyone to keep doing thier
best to produce more outstanding Bonsai Trees for Annual Shows for W-B-S
