This months website is dedicated to all lovers of Kusamono and the art of the accent plant. The gallery is worth a visit and there is also some discussion on Japanese Aesthetics (an interesting item on Wabi-Sabi!!) and the art of presentation. There is also an article on KEI D0- a new term... for me anyway.
Literally translated, Kei Do means the Way of VIEWING. The school of Kei Do teaches the long-time traditions, conventions and disciplines which have brought bonsai, grass planting, suiseki (viewing stones) and the art of display to the confines of a room, specifically the tokonoma, or alcove.
So...... not just something for Andy then.......!!
